Congress Proposes New Chapter of Bankruptcy

In a previous post about companies that are “too big to fail” we talked about what the government should do with very large companies that affect huge portions of the economy. Well a new law Congress is considering would make it less likely for government to take over a company or bail it out, which is a good thing. It also addresses some of the unique situations faced by these huge companies, which is also a good thing.
